Why write a blog?
Originally, in May of 2009, this blog was started in order to keep record of the hilarious goings-on of childcare.
As time progressed, I found myself desiring, though, not just to record the entertaining parts of my days, but to seek to understand why on earth they’d matter. Basically I prayed about what God wanted me to say, rather than what I wanted to say, and things got a lot more focused.
“words words words,” is what i say when people are talking, but not really SAYING anything. And I don’t want you to ever have to “words words words” me. But please do, if necessary.
Also, in case you’re wondering why a woman who supposedly loves Jesus and wants to live for him would own up to being such an idiot sometimes, here’s my answer:
It’s not just the sunshine and roses stories that God uses. Have you read the Bible? Any of it? In God’s kingdom, it doesn’t matter what color you are, it just matters that you’re a sheep.
